ICOT held its first Cultural Day on Wednesday 15th June. All students were asked to present something new and interesting from their culture or home country. We are delighted to say that all present got into the spirit of the event, some brought food for all to sample, some sang songs and/or played traditional music, some stood up and told us about certain customs, others dressed up in traditional outfits and explained their significance and even the staff got involved singing a rendition of Molloy Malone! We would like to sincerely thank all those who participated and based on the success of the event, ICOT has decided to make it a regular event. Details and date of the July Cultural Day will be announced shortly.
