Qualification Summary
The English for Academic Purposes course at ICOT is designed to help students use the English Language effectively to study any course through English. Students taking this course would typically have a relatively high standard of English, but do not have any formal English qualification necessary to gain entry onto University programmes at either undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Structure of the qualification Courses are typically 15 hours per week with a further 10 hours of guided self-study in the form of assignments set by the tutors.
- Progression Students can use these scores and Certificate to fulfil the English language entry requirements for most university courses.
